How long does shipping take?

For Canadian orders, shipping for original artwork typically takes 5-10 business days, depending on your location.  International shipping usually takes 2-4 weeks, depending on destination and customs processing.  Each original painting is carefully packaged by hand to ensure it arrives safely, and I provide tracking so you can follow your artwork journey from the studio to your home. If you have questions about shipping options, I’m happy to assist you personally.

How long does shipping take for prints?

Christine Rottar Studio prints are a way to bring the energy, colour, and joy of my paintings into your home at a more accessible scale.  Each print is produced and shipped in partnership with Print Space, using archival-quality materials and professional printing techniques to capture the brushstrokes, vibrancy, and detail of the original work.  Available in a variety of sizes, these prints are perfect for collectors who want to experience the expressive beauty of my work without compromising on quality.  Whether displayed alone or as part of a curated collection, each piece is designed to bring you warmth, presence, and joyful colour into your space.  All prints are produced and shipped on demand by my business partner, The Print Space, from their professional print studios, with order fulfillment typically within 2-5 business days - shipping time can vary by geographic destination.

Do you accept returns?

Thank you for your interest in Christine Rottar Studio! Because each painting is an original, one-of-a-kind work, we do not accept returns. Every piece is carefully created to be a lasting, meaningful addition to your home.  If you have questions about sizing, colour, or shipping before purchasing, I’m happy to provide guidance to ensure the artwork will be perfect for your space.

Sustainability and Materials

Christine Rottar Studio is committed to thoughtful, responsible studio practices.  I work primarily with professional grade oil paints from Michael Harding, Old Holland, and Gamblin- brands known for their high-quality pigments and commitment to responsible manufacturing practices. Whenever possible, I source locally made Canadian canvases and materials, supporting small suppliers and reducing environmental impact.  Each painting is created by hand using traditional techniques and durable materials designed to last for generations. I believe in creating work that is not only expressive and beautiful, but also made with care- for the collector, for the craft, and for the environment.

Do I have to pay customs?

Buyers are responsible for any possible customs and related fees acquired in your home country regarding your shipment.

Do you accept commissions?

Christine Rottar Studio offers commissioned paintings for collectors who want a truly personal, one-of-a-kind work.  Each commission begins with a consultation about your piece, your vision, and the colours, energy, and mood you’d like to convey.  You will be presented with a mock-up of the design idea, along with colour theme and canvas size.  I will share updates throughout the painting process which can take up to 3-4 weeks depending on demand.  There is no risk-I want you to truly love your commissioned painting.  If it does not feel right, you are not obligated to take it.  A commissioned piece is more than decor; it’s a lasting collection, designed to bring warmth, presence, and joy into your home.
